CLU, a private university in Thousand Oaks, and the Ventura County Community District have reached a transfer agreement similar to that for state public universities. The CLU deadline for transfer students is June 1, so the agreement will be in effect for them. “We are looking forward to this new program, the last step we have taken to better serve transfer students,” said Chris Kimball, President of the City of Cal Luther. “This transfer admission guarantee will simplify the process for local students and provide a clear path to visiting an independent university in their backyard. It is a wonderful example of a public-private partnership that aims to help students.
